In this episode, Joy invites us to pause, breathe, and reconnect with the light already present within us. She then guides us to a space where we can settle your nervous system, soften into presence, and allow our inner light to rise.

Joy explores how many of us carry deep conditioning around scarcity, self-sacrifice, and the belief that there isn’t enough to go around. She shares the insight that if we learn to nourish ourselves first, we can create a stronger foundation for authentic generosity, connection, and service. We also discover how repeated exposure to fear and trauma can keep us trapped in unhealthy energetic loops.

Joy shows us that within every difficult emotion lies access to its opposite frequency. And that when we remember our inner “switch” and reconnect with our divine blueprint, compassion, possibility, and healing become available once again.

Release episodes help you shed trauma signals and accumulated pain stemming from your family history and personal life journey.

This is Soul Awakenings with Joy Truscott, the show that is your safe space. Life has so many transitions, and this is where we walk through those together with more ease, grace, and flow. Today we talk about energy and uplifting our light, our inner light rising. So we're going to set it up and we can receive beautiful guidance and then we can settle down and come into the space and be here together. And just ask our guys can we just receive whatever it is that will help every one of us right now to hold the space with our inner light rising to the surface. Wouldn't that be gorgeous? Let's get into a comfy position. Let's wiggle and wobble and make sure that we are sitting comfortably. We can lie down, whatever makes you happy, make sure that you are in that space where you could perhaps even close your eyes and center your energy back towards yourself so that we can create a very, very powerful connection through our being. That would be such a lovely way for us to hold this as a collective. So here comes our bell. Take a deep breath in, my lovelies. A long slow outbreath. And as you drop into this moment, drop your shoulders, soften your tummy, feel the balance of your body on the left and the right. Then relax and smooth your face, relax your jaw. And imagine that you can give yourself permission just to be right here where you are in this moment in time. See if you can pull all your attention to this moment. When you notice yourself becoming a little distracted, I'll just go do that and I'll just do the next thing. Just ask your being, is it okay if we just stop doing everything? Would it be okay if I just do what I'm doing right now? Being present with my being in this moment in time with other delightful beings all over the world. And we get to sit right here with our energy field and sense the collective connection. It's such a wonderful gift for us to know that there are others out there who are also holding the same space as we are, feeling all the stuff in whatever way they're feeling it. We are all in it in one way or another. And we're all finding our way to be with what is and still allow the light that we are to rise and shine in us. What a big ask this is. And my treasures is going to become greater and greater that we ask for this. So best we know exactly how to do it, that we start in the moment where we are right now, and we can imagine that we start to build upon this moment by moment, building upon our capacity to tune in, up level, upgrade, awaken this beautiful being, this vehicle that is a sensory, perceiving, connecting, integrating, collaborating. It's just the most incredible vehicle. And what drives it all is the light within us. The light that is of the eternal, of all that is. Not one of us is here without it. Although it does seem for many that it's just very, very deeply embedded and hidden almost. But the light is right there. And whatever it is that we can do to open that light, to bring it to the surface, to help and support our being, that is what we want to focus on. It's very important that we understand this little piece because we've been told all the way through our growing up that we mustn't be selfish and we mustn't take this for ourselves. We must always share everything and we must give everything to everybody else. And we must always make sure everyone else is comfortable before we allow to give to ourselves. I remember being a little person and this lesson being taught to me by the elders and having a little bowl of sweets, and before your little fingers were allowed to go in, you had to go and offer everybody these little sweeties. And then your face would go like, oh, they're gonna eat them all, horrified. It was that sense of everyone else before yourself. There was another little boy that I taught, and this little boy was terribly, terribly traumatized. And whenever a lunch came round, because we had sit-down meals to try and teach the children, community eating and playing and being. And whenever the lunch came round, he would be so anxious that there wouldn't be enough for him. And we would allow him to dish up his own food first. He was just a little four-year-old sweetheart. So he would dish up his food and then out of the corner of his eyes look to see if anyone was looking, how much he was taking. This little boy was so horribly traumatized. And it took such a lot of time to help him to settle down, but his anxiety about it not being enough was immense. We'd say to him, now just pass the bowl on. When you're ready, you can have as much as you like. And when you really pass the bowl on, someone else can dish up for themselves. Gingerly pass it over. If someone took two spoons, he would freak out this poor little thing, scream and cry that there wouldn't be enough. I think we are a little bit like that right now. We are so traumatized, we are so horrified, and we're so insecure that it's very difficult for us to understand that what we give to ourselves, it is not depleting, it's giving to ourselves. And there is a generosity in letting others also receive. But I think we should turn the story around, like we did for this little one. We give to ourselves to fill up, to feel like there is enough, there's abundance, that we satiated, and we fill up that space within us, the wounded child, the insecure, the anxious. We allow that self, that part of us, our adult self, to nurture our inner child. There's plenty, you're gonna be okay. Don't you worry, my treasure. And so we give to this being. When we are in the space where we can receive what we are giving to ourselves, then our whole nervous system settles down. From that place, there's a generosity of spirit that opens up the light that we are, begins to emit into the space the kindness, the thoughtfulness, the generosity, the compassion. It starts to move from us towards those others. And I'm wondering if you have noticed anything like this in your lives. For those of you who have children, have you noticed how this game is played out? We've got to look at what it is that creates this insecurity, this terrible anxiety, what has happened in all of our lives, in our ancient ancestral journeys that has caused us to mistrust the generosity of this earth, the kindness and the love and generosity of others? Could it be that we hold the switch right inside of us? And that if we were willing to feed, nourish, adore, trust, love this beautiful being, if we were willing to do that for ourselves, to feel that we were filled up so that we could give again, that would be a really wonderful gift for us to reprogram into our system back into that space where we can replenish, then we can give, and we can allow ourselves to feel this beautiful exchange of energy as it moves back and forth and through. I had this thought. So here we have these generators of energy, and wherever they generate energy, and energy is transmitted to each of our homes, we plug in our devices, we receive that energy, and we use that energy. And that energy has got to keep being restored and replenished and pushed back into our systems so that we can plug in our devices so that they will work. I just think that's the most ridiculous picture because it's a one-way street. This monster that needs to consume so many of our resources so that it can generate energy, so that it can thrust it out so that we can use it and then there's nothing going back. It's just a one-way system. I have no idea how electricity works, but surely by now we could have thought of self-generating systems. Because if we're plugging in a device and it's lighting up, there is an energy in there, isn't there? So it's lighting up, and so that energy should feed back into the grid. Maybe it needs to be a loop. So once we have the generating of the energy moving in, then we receive it and we send it back, and so the loop creates and it continues to go. I can't wait to pose this question to someone who is a little bit of an electrical genius and ask why do we not have a loop, a feedback loop? Surely this makes sense. Does to me. I wonder how it is for you. That would be such a wonderful gift for all of us to know that this resource of us, with this inner light and compassion and love, with the grace that we hold that is the very breath of the divine, that through this that we can continue to feel replenished, fed, loved, and held. What is breaking the system down, I do believe, for us darling humans, is the amount of pain that there is in the world, the amount of sadness, and we have no escape from it. In days gone by, we've had the ability to feel the story in our own communities or homes or settlements. We felt what was going on, we interacted with each other, and we felt it as a collective, as that community, and we held it and supported it as a community. And we helped to ease it and replenish it, to love it and adore it, to soothe it and nurture it. But now, my lovelies, we're sitting in so much isolation, and while we're in the isolation, there is this constant bombardment of horror, awfulness, hatefulness, angry words, and hideous actions that is being thrust into us 24-7. And it's on a loop. I remember also when we were there for 9-11 when the towers came down, and oh my gosh, it was such a traumatic time for the children that we were teaching because they said, but they just keep coming down. They keep coming down. They didn't understand that it was the loop of the information that just showed us again and again and again and again until it became so embedded. The trauma of this moment was so deeply embedded in the psyche of humanity, and especially for the Americans and for those around the world who cared. But it was such a huge impact. Being in America at that time really opened my eyes to what trauma does and how it sits within our system, and how when it is incessantly played out and there's no resolution or no solution, it just keeps going and going and going. The feedback loop, that loop we do not want to have. And there is a loop there, isn't it? The televisions, the radios, everything, the people who talk, it just goes on and on and on and on until the poor body, the poor being that's there doesn't even know what to do, so overwhelmed with the immensity of the horror and the pain and the sadness. And so we're back here again in a deeper, more painful way right now. With all of this being pushed and pressed into our systems. This feedback loop is not feeding us, it is diminishing us in such a terrible way that we're now getting to the point where, like, oh, we can't breathe anymore, we don't know what to do. Let's find that way. Let's break the story and remember who we are. My treasures, we are divine beings of light and love. We are the very breath of the divine. It is because we hold the God code, the blueprint in us, that we seek something else. Every one of us here in this space cares. Every one of us knows how to love no matter what, unconditionally. We've been told that when we do, we are weak and pathetic. We're not. We are just more magnificent than you can ever imagine. That no matter what humanity is doing to itself, we still have the ability to wish for something else to happen. To be kind and loving and considerate. How do we even hold that memory anymore? How do we even know that? We are embedded with a God code. We are here on purpose, on time, for something that is so incredible that's going to happen. If only we can break the cycle, the story that is just being pulled back in, pulled back in, crushing our hearts and spirits. If only we knew how to change that story to replenish us when this story comes in. How do we use that electrical charge, that emotional charge? And how do we switch it so that we are feeding the grid, not in the desperation or the depletion, but feeding this energy back into the grid that might be presenting to us in a forceful way of such horror? What do we do? What is that switch? And my lovies, you have it in you. You have that switch, and it is your inner light. If you sat there right now and you asked your being, how do I feel about life and others and all the plants and the creatures and the animals? We're all gonna say something that is loving and gracious, kind. There is gonna be a generosity and appreciation, gratitude, something and asking for forgiveness that we have been so atrocious. But there is a considerate awareness inside of each and every one of us. And because you hold that, my treasure, that is your inner light, and it must rise, it must emerge and come through you so that there's not a one-way of depletion, just constant bombardment. And this is how we do it. Oh, I want so many little stories that I want to tell you. I'm just looking at my time. Just a couple of days ago, I had a beautiful, lifelong friend come and visit me, and his work is in Africa and the world in protecting the species, the planet, the oceans, all the animals. He's an incredible human being who is doing this incredible work with his precious soul partner. They have this ability to hold a space in the depth of horror, savagery, torture, and hideousness of humans behaving so hideously. He sat here with us and spoke for hours, just letting all the sadness come through him. And you could feel the pain, feel the heartache, feel the misery. We just felt the sadness, the level of it. But my lovelies, because we can feel it, because we can know how important it is that this story stops, we hold the key right inside of us. In every situation where they find themselves faced with a horror, an awfulness, they are in the exact vibrational field of that particular feeling, sense, or awareness. It is as if they've stepped into the river of that consciousness and they are feeling it, they are almost drowning in the feeling of it. They have this credible awareness of what is, what is being presented, and how we're behaving. And in the exact same moment where they know this pain, their hearts and their souls, their inner light calls for more light, more love, compassion. That's why they are spurred on to do this work. They don't even own a home because they just travel and help wherever they can go. They have this connection to this and this other thing that they are working so hard to create with all their passion, all their hardship, and all their great struggles, but there's something that they still believe in. They still believe that there's a solution. How they hold that, I have no idea, because I can promise you, knowing what they do, it would absolutely finish me. My soul would be so crushed and so broken, I would not be able to stand up. But in that moment, there is a vibration that holds that thing and the possibility for something else. It is a thread of light energy. It's like a little fiber optic light tube. It is specific to that point of pain and it has a specific connection to what else it could be of that precise vibration. Can you see that and picture it? The moment you have this little thread, this connecting thread, it's like a synapsis that forms in the brain. This one fires and this one is received, and then it connects, and that synaptic connection creates flow, movement, back, inspiration. This is exactly what it's like. In that exact precise point of pain is the exact precise frequency to release that pain point. It is the energy of the compassion that is required to release the torture and the horror that they have witnessed. They hold in them a key, and every single one of us do. Thankfully, thank you, God. We don't have to walk into those very, very, very challenging places. But somehow they do. And somehow they keep the light within themselves. Thank you, God, for that. And whatever you are feeling, and whatever pain you're understanding, whatever exquisite knowing of that story you know, believe me, my loves, you hold the exact opposite, the 180-degree flip vibration for what is now possible. If it was not that, what could it be? And that could be is the possibility, the abundance and the flow, the light, the love, the possibilities of what else we could create now as humanity. If we forget this, that we hold the light, we don't wait for others to fix it, to do it, to repair it. We hold the light. We are the guardians of the story of the light that we hold within us, the God code, the divine blueprint. We hold it in us. And the vibration reveals the exact frequency that releases it. Isn't that beautiful? When I'm doing my voice stories and trying to make sure that the sound is of good quality, I have this little noise cancelling thing that I was working on before I got the system I got now. So what happens is you get sound waves. And when there's a noise or a dog bark or a bang or something, then you get a spike that goes up and then goes down, and then zing, zing, zing, go back and forth, zigzagging across the page. And every time there's a hard, spiky sound or something that's not okay, it rises up and hits a peak. So you can see these peaks. My friend who was helping me with this says this is what you do. You take that sound wave pattern, you duplicate it, and you flip it over like a mirror. Now you've got those peaks locking down upon each other. You've got the zigzag pattern at the top and the peak pushing itself down, and the exact duplicate on the other side with the two peaks touching each other, which cancel each other out. It's like that. I hope that makes sense. Please, for those of you who know about music and sound, or if you want to find out about that, then go and ask someone who's a clever little sound technician. They'll tell you in all the wonderful ways. But this image was so relevant to me, it's that these high notes of great despair, when we get to the 180 degrees, we flip it over. They cancel each other out. That is how it works. You hold within you the God code, you hold the light within you, and it is rising to the surface when we remember who we are. May it be, my treasure, that you hold this and remember who you are. We can change everything. Your darkest moment, your greatest despair. This is the point of access that is beyond what anyone else can access, because only you can know, feel, and understand it in your particular, sovereign, wonderful way. This is your job. You go out there, watch everything that's causing you pain, and you flip it over because you know the antidote, and we begin to spread that into the world. That's the light that begins to illuminate our consciousness. May that be my treasure. So much love to you all. If this show makes you feel better, follow us and share it with your circle.
